Default SK gps external light question

I just got my second gps installed today, but I got a question about the light, after it acquires gps lock, the gps unit is blue but the external light has the blue and red LEDs on at the same time, sorta looking purple, lol.
Has anybody seen this on there's and what does it. mean ?

It most probably means you have connected the EX-LED incorrectly. To the wrong port.

+1

This is what happens when its not quite wired correctly. It will also not be near as bright when lit up

Make sure you are not trying to use the IO-DE port to power it, as this is not a power port. One plug goes onto the LED port of course, but the other must go into any other port except the IO-DE. I use the SW-A port since this one typically available on any three servo setup.

Also check that you don't have one of the servo plugs flipped over the wrong way in the FBL unit

Thanks X and Groucho, thanks to one of X's old post I found the problem, the power connector was upside down, correct ports just turned wrong. When I was looking for the answer I found one of X's post about the led had a sorta pink look and not very bright, that's when my light went on, turn it over dummy.... lol
Thanks again guys...

Its amazing we could figure out how to set up and use the unit, but somehow plugging in the LED baffled us all
