Went great! Lovely flying machine. Quite light on Lipos too (flying 12s). 5:00 = 50% left at 1650RPM.

Will now have to wait until Mikado issue the recalled 690SX OWB though.. So it will be grounded until then.

Total bummer! I heard from a little birdie that two Logo 600 OWB stacked works.

What lipos did you end up using in the 690SX?

You did a great job on the build!

Nice bird.....

In the pic that's 2nd to last....showing the VC and your VBar FBL....

It might be the angle, but it seems as if your VBar FBL is not mounted
orthogonal to the airframe?

I always thought "orthogonality" is key...when mounting one's gyros.

As I mentioned, it just might be the pic angle.

FWIW

Sensor and Mini Vbar must be orthogonal, position of control unit from Silverline doesn't matter because there is no sensor inside

I use a full size Silverline - the sensor is mounted on the bottom tray and I can assure you is correctly mounted, straight and free of unintentional interference by other objects, such as cables .

My 550 canopy is one of the new option canopies from Mikado. You can buy it from them directly, or from an official mikado distributor. I bought mine from Fastlad in the UK.

The Heineken was a reward for completion I find that drinking beer during builds doesn't tend to end well
