Advice on a gws slow stick

For 150$ is this a decent deal:

Or would it be better to spend 150 on something else for a beginner? I am on process of fixing up a blade 400 and want something to fly during down time.

A slow stik is a GREAT first plane. Don't know about the V-tail...I've never flown that version.

The slow stik is the only airframe I have two of. And I wouldn't mind having a third. Night flying...put floats on it and fly off water/snow.

Not sure about the price. I'd have to see it. BUT, it doesn't seem totally unreasonable.

With the assumption that most of the stuff is from hobby-king, you could probably build a completely new one for around $150.

Slow-stick is a great simple first plane. I've got one i put through hell as much as possible just b/c its so much fun. And if you over-power it enough, you can get it to hover and torque roll
