Co-pilot drifting...main sensor
Hi
I trim my heli with Co-pilot off, then when I turn it on the heli is drifting to the left. I'm I right to think that as my main sensor is mounted on the horizontal fin that if I accidently tilt the horizontal fin, say to the right, that the main sensor will want to correct leveling by tilting the heli to the left thus inducing left drifting? Should I mount the main sensor directly to the boom? EDIT: I was just reding the post on Co-pilot 2 and maybe It's because I didn't trim the heli once the co-pilot was set to ON. If I understand you have to trim with co-pilot OFF the with co-pilot ON. Ok even with that done, is it what would happen if the main sensor is moved (tilt left or right), the co-pilot will do everything to set the main sensor level? and that might induce drift ?

You mounted your sensor directly in the boom strike area..
I would suggest moving it a bit closer up the boom. If you go the route of adjusting the min sensor to correct for drift, you will lean the sensor in the direction of the drift to correct it.

If I don't want to correct the drift by moving the main sensor, the way to do it is trim with CP2 OFF then trim with CP2 ON with AUTO trim activated ? I guess everithing is in that paragraph? What is the difference between Auto Trim and Set Angles menus and what is a good strategy for trimming the model with CPII installed?

So it is normal that I have a drift if the main sensor is not perfectly level ? Yes
If I don't want to correct the drift by moving the main sensor, the way to do it is trim with CP2 OFF then trim with CP2 ON with AUTO trim activated ? You can turn the auto trim off ( set to 0 ) and use flight angles to correct the drift. I guess everithing is in that paragraph?
