Why are you trying?

Its tuned to make power at a much higher rpm than typical plane engines, meaning you will have to run a small high pitch prop. And cowl it in or block off some of the cooling fins so it doesn't run cold.

I know of people using it on planes. Many have used a 12.25x3.75 APC prop and liked it. You'll need this: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXCL47&P=ML

Go for it. It will likely run better than any plank engine. I wouldn't hesitate to do it. Might make the plank pilots jealous though.
