Bantam bc6dx-II lipo charge
Hi , one post mentioned bad cables being an issue with
the charger cutting off early. Changed to known good cable. The broke in 6 cells 3000mah and 2600's are only charging to 25.10 and 4.19 /cell or so. I put them on my Thunder Ac6 and they finish up to 25.20 w/ an avg. of 4.20 /cell. The Bantam bc6dx-ii is about 1 month in use..... is there a setting that is preventing a full charge... By the way the same thing for 3 cell 2200's 12.45 - 12-58 and 4.18 - 4.17 /cell.. I have tried using DC power supply (input volts of 13 +) same scene.... |

E-station BC6-10
I have a problem that I'm not seeing anyone else reporting. When I do a balance charge with 2 x 2cell lipos or a 3 cell or 2 x 3 cell lipo battery I get the first cell showing up as 2.88 v and the rest around 4.00 plus. Then when I change the configuration around (and you have to mess with it quite a bit) then it will show the battery that was low as higher than the other cells. Which I guess makes sence since the charger is trying to put more amps into the cell that's showing lower. Any ideas as to how to proceed? I have both single card and dual cards, seems to show up on both. I can get it to work most of the time, but it takes a lot of finageling to get it to read right, plus I'm losing confidence in it. I was just setting up a few cells for starage mode and it's doing it in that mode too. I didn't notice that before..

My Bantam bc6dx-ii reported a low cell like you discribe. 1 problem was a balance connector wire broke at the battery. 2 problem was a bad connection from board to charger. Cheers

BC6HP
Hello,
I received a new BC6HP, and I have some questions - How to set correctly the Reflex mode? ex: NiMh 1500mAh 9.6v The charging process will be longer? - I don't understand what is the difference between Automatic and Manual mode for charging NiMh batteries. Can you tell me again with others terms? thank you

Auto: The charger determines the charge rate based on the batteries cell resistence and wiring resistence. You must however set the CURRENT Limit which is to limt the charge rate. In other words, you tell the charger what is the max charge rate you want the auto mode to use. |

Individual Cell Voltage Query
Hi,
Using e Station BC6-10 to charge near new 3s 2200mA lipos (4 of them). Final voltage after balance charge is 12.6V Cell voltages are 3.98Volts each (3.98 x 3 = 11.94V) Should i be getting 4.20Vper cell ? p.s. sorry double posted it to Bantam forum

Is the charger showing you 12.6V on the main display and 3.98V for each cell on the chargers display? Is the charger finishing the charge program?

If your batteries are of the JSt XH kind, insert the balance tap starting at pin 2 and then start a balance charge and check the individual cells. |

I did what you said and connected the tap into the balance port, starting at pin 2 on the balance port. The black wire on the balance tap will be connected to pin 2 on the balance port
Fully charged main screen shows 12.6V individual cells show 3.88V any ideas, actually flew today and flight times were down a lot on what im used to ( 6.30 mins down to less than 4 minutes) thanks Steve

Problem with the USB dongle associated with the eStation Software.
Dongle worked fine ( through a Targus USB port expander) for about 30 charges. Then it quit. My Toshiba laptop does not recognize the dongle being removed or plugged in. All USB ports on the laptop are Type 2 as are the ports on the Targus. Anyone having a similar problem?

Bantam E-Station BC6DX-II
Hi,
I have Bantam E-Station BC6DX-II and I'm trying to charge 240mAh 3.7V 1S 25C LiPo but I can't find out how I can set that 240mAh capacity to my charger. It just jumps from 200mAh to 300mAh so are there some way to set that 240mAh? And if I can't set that 240mAh can I put 300mAh to capacity and charge it like that or will it harm battery?
