Go to tools
So what are everybody's go to tools? The ones you can't live with out and what just sits in the tool box? So far I have ordered a set of hex drivers, a set of metric screwdrivers, a pair of needle nose and ball link pliers. I plan on ordering a soko gauge and a blade balancer. Is a multi function tester nessecary with a nitro heli?

Go to tools
A set of tweezers, good wire strippers and a nice soldering station are a must for me as we'll.

Screwdrivers in all sizes (from an iPhone repairing screw driver set, works great, fits micro helis and large ones alike), tweezers, pliers, ball link pliers, pitch gauge, swashplate leveller. I have a multi tool for servo testing, battery capacity checking and an rpm measurer however I can do without. Its handy tough.

Defo ball link pliers and a small flat head.
Flat heads are amazing for almost stripped out screws that your phillips can't get to and as for ball link pliers, they are a godsend. Not only is removing and attatching ball links amazingly easy, but getting bearings and swash plates out of bent/damaged shafts is very easy. Works with getting main gears out too.

I don't go anywhere without my MIP hex drivers, I have four and have not come across a stripped head that has beaten them yet. They are the tool everyone must have.
Buy them once and they will stay with you for a long time.
