Default Blade 300X pictures thread - post your pics

Since I've been seeing people posting pictures, I thought hell, why not. Just got the 300X today, and added her to the family photo.

I'm loving the clear windshield on that canopy !! You should get some rit dye for the tail fins/blades/skids as they would look great coloured red to match the canopy !

Man post that pic -- I want to see how it looks, I wanted to get that but changed my mind to this.

What Id like to see is one with that Yellow one, with the carbon fiber blades for both main and tail.

Iskareot, I'll definitely post a photo or two once I get it in...it Shipped from HH on Friday. For the longest time there wasn't a photo of it on Horizon Hobby's so I Googled it and fell in love with the color scheme.

The Black/Yellow canopy with Yellow tail blades will look Sweet I feel. Until then here's 'some' of my Blade Crew.

Smile Option Canopy: Black/Yellow

Here's my other 300 X with the Black/Yellow Option Canopy: BLH4542A, that I got in the mail today.

I wanted the photo's with the Yellow tail blades but those were shipped from a different warehouse, I guess.

It looks pretty good but I'm liking the Stock canopy and the one Iskareot has on his 300 X. One things for sure, I Really like the clear blue canopy design!

Yep as expected that looks great and I bet you can see it well while flying.

All you need is some action shots and it's a photo OP for Blade lol.

Oh and yeah now I think I have to buy another -- dangit..lol

Yuppers, I do believe I'm as bad as you, lol! Now, I want to buy the other Yellow/Green and Red one so that I can be sure which one I like better, laughs. The Canopies won't go to waste as the one I don't fly with will be backups.

Long day at work yesterday so didn't fly any...tired and RC flying don't go well with me But Definitely, I would like to take the Heli out and fly her around so that I can gauge visibility.

Eventually I'd like to do an action shot but I'm solo; I could try the GoPro but that'll be a weekend project.

Iskareot, you could Rock the Action Shot and get the Glory!

I tell ya I did the same thing got both.. once you do some mods to the 130x it is nice..
Metal gear, Canopy grommets on the swash plate and tighten some things down it flies amazing.

The 300x though... whole different monster in the feel.

I can't wait to get mine back HH has it now, so this should be interesting to see how this pans out. They needed to see that shaft issue. But yeah if it takes more then 5 days, I will buy another. I live only 2 hours or so from them so I am lucky in that respect.

lol

Thanks but mine is down... shaft snapped like a twig.. good news was I was only 7 feet above ground in a straight hover.. gave full throttle to go up and snap - fell down. No major damage, broke a blade, looks like it stripped a servo and then the shaft itself slid upward. So yeah I sent that right back. I think I had 10 perfect flights though. Been so hot here it sucks flying in 100 degrees.. just not as much fun.

So basically your bird took one for the Team...hope you get it back soon and HH takes care of you with a new one! This time next year, I'll be in Arkansas so I'm intently reading how "Heat" affects RC Helis. May have to get up seriously early to get some flying in...I'll have to see.

Please let us all know the out-come of your 300 X!

I lost the TT gear on the 130X, and the LHS does not stock parts yet....so I *had* to find a solution... And there was this pile of 300X boxes just at the corner of the desk... Well we all know how it ends... :-)

Replace a $3 part with a $350 heli, I see absolutely nothing wrong with that! Enjoy!
