Good news! Horizon informed me that Blade is donating something to OHB also, but we've been told it's a secret until then.

Who hasn't registered yet? Why wait?

Thinking about packing my plane up with a couple goblins and making the 5 hour flight from DC. Getting too cold up here to fly! Sunday was 34 degrees and could only fly half a tank before landing to warm my hands up"

Question Spectators

Any specifics on spectator entry fee or any other rules for spectators?
Is the raffle open game? How much are raffle tickets?

Would love to fly myself, but I'm still in the early hover learning phase with my mCPX2. Seems like registering would be overkill for me, but would love to watch the experienced and pro flyers do their thing, and who knows, maybe get some pointers.

Thanks

SAB just notified us that they'll be donating a brand new Goblin 770! This is a brand new machine being released to the market next week! Thanks SAB.

There is no charge for spectators. There are two raffles, a pilot raffle (for pilots only) and an open raffle where you can buy tickets. I have not been told how much tickets are yet.

Hope this helps

Bert -

If a pilot is only present on Friday and the raffle is Saturday, does the pilot have to be present to claim a prize if someone is there on behalf of the winning pilot to claim and ship on behalf of the winner?

Nope... But a guy can hope!

Besides... They have a pretty healthy pile of drawing prizes. Chances of winning are a lot better than the lottery.

I was really looking forward to this event but unfortunately I have knee surgery scheduled as of a week ago and the Dr will not change the date December 7 so enjoy the event and I hope to get there next year.

We're looking for a few unwrapped toys from our pilots visiting us next week in Orlando. As you know this not only being one of the largest club fun fly but also one of the largest fundraiser for our community. Involving kids from local schools, Ronald McDonald's House and the Toys for Tots to name a few. So while you're driving pass a store ore coming through the airport stop by and pick up a toy for the kids who hasn't any. So please don't come empty handed. Ha Ha!

I plan on attending with the wife and kids (5&7) on Saturday. What are the ideal times to attend? (peak activity/cool factor)

I would like to see the night flight stuff as well, as I've heard its quite a show

Do we need to bring our own food and drinks? or will there be vendors?

I assume we should bring our own chairs, is a popup tent recommended?

Thanks (this will be our first show, sorry for the dumb questions)

Pre-registered and looking forward to another great year!! TheMark, you definitely want to be there before noon, at the very latest, so you don't miss the noon-time demos (12:00 to 1:00pm). The night flying usually starts soon after sunset.

BTW, I will have a couple of airframes at the event for sale in case anyone is interested. Just the airframes with some spares (no electronics or main blades). I'll have the following:

1) Mikado Logo24 Bionic (600 size), $255 negotiable:
Sale thread: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=475560

2) Align T-Rex700E-conversion (also w/Nitro parts), $350.

If you are interested, send me a PM and we can talk and meet at the event. Thanks.

Chachin..
