When you take a part off the old one put it on the new one so you don't forget where it came from

When I change frames, I mark each connection with a differently colored magic marker. Matching plug with input to board.
Then, when I install everything on new frame, I know exactly what servo or motor goes into which plug. Makes things a sinch. Just be very caustious with the tail motor wires. Those, are very easy to strip, cause a short, and blow a fet.

Swapping out the frame is pretty straightforward. You don't need to disconnect the electrics (apart from the tail motor), just unscrew the board and servos, pull the motor and move it all across as one unit.

[edit: that works for stock frames anyhow, haven't tried the aftermarket frames yet]

I have changed so many frames now that I know it by memery.

When lookoing at board from back ( frame side )

The motor connectors are main motor at top right and tail bottom right. Match up polarity ( stripe on connector )

The servo's top port is the rear servo ( the connector goes in upside down )
the bottom left is left servo and the bottom right is right servo

The trick the first time is to to tranfer parts to the new frame as you take the damaged one apart. After a few frame transfers it becomes second nature.

Have Fun!

This is incorrect , main motor is top and tail is bottom right.
