Default Will the E5 take 570mm blades without stretching?

Will E5 take 570mm blades without stretching?
I've got a Goblin 570, and I'm contemplating buying an E5 kit and use the same blades..

Thanks.

Well the rails are 556 the 570 is 14mm . I went and unfolded mine pulled the blades down and it looks like that's a no on the 570 with out stretching.

When I compare my 570 blades to my edge 553's the differance is so insignificant I cant imagine it would cause a problem. But i dont have a E5..

If you really want to run 570 blades you'll need the 600 stretch kit.

Default I had an E5 with SAB 570s

Hi! I had an E5 with SAB 570 blades. It was stock running 6s with no issues. You don't need the stretch kit. I double checked to see if the main & tail blades would hit & they cleared just fine. 570mm blades are the longest you want to go without the stretch.

I don't have an E5 configured for 550 right now to check, but the best thing to do is measure your particular machine. Point the main and tail grips toward each other as directly as possible and measure the distance in MM from bolt center to bolt center - write this number down. Subtract the length of your tail blades, and subtract about 3mm for clearance. You will be left with the max safe main blade length for your machine. It's better to be safe than sorry. It's no fun when the two rotors do battle.

Good call Dan. Thank you I had asked this question a while back with no response. I like the ease of 6S and my skill level allows 3D, but to fly and enjoy I need the 6S to keep up, the weight difference of my 5000 packs really only gives me 3:45 minute flight times so thinking of a slightly lighter blade loading I presumed the 570's may just be the ticket to what I am after. So now I can order the stretch and blades and try it.
