Default Old 9CHP considering sending for Maint.

OK, So I have a 9CHP that i got quite some time ago over 10 years. I have not used it in the last several years because the throttle is a bit sticky I took her apart greased it etc. So, my guess is it's the gimbal or the Pot.

The Tx has never been sent in and assuming there is nothing else seriously wrong which i don't expect there to be it should be under $100 i believe according to conversation I had with hobby services.

Has anyone had any similar experiences sending in a Tx, mine got quite a bit of use because I used to use it a lot with the SIM i had that didn't come with an empty Tx to hook up, just a cable for the real thing?

I would love to get something new and fancy but don't want to spend that kind of cash at the moment.

I fly a Sceadu EVO .50, T-rex 450 and run a GY-611 and governor on the .50 I probably haven't flown for the past several years right when the first electronic fuel management systems were coming onto the market is when I stopped roughly.

Thanks for your time,

Kevin

Contact Tony Stillman. He owns radio south and has good prices, honest and will explain to you exactly what you need and why. He has a good turn around time. Give him a call and he' ll work with you. He knows futaba and JR

Alot of people are still using these radio's and some prefer them. I have two of them that I just recently purchased. With the plug in module you can do anything with it. I also use mine for FPV aircraft with a Dragon Link UHF setup. They may be old but they are still great radios!
