Best 45 bucks I ever spent... Completely gone now, in a video mrmel said to turn it off after a couple of flights, is that still the case?

Man I can't wait to get my other 2 packs... Only 2 flights just isn't enough

yes turn them off. once it flys good. you'll want to re optimize if you change the agility.

it is the only one that works with a castle ESC. and yes it works with VBAR. mini vabr will require an adapter cable.

with a mini vbar you will need to make a patch cable to power the HW RPM sensor. the sensor port on the min doesn't have 5V on the power pin for the sensor. strange but true. witt the fullsize vbar, you plug the sensor into the VBAR and then solder two wires to the motor leads and you are ready to go. MR mell has videos.

Use some shoo goo to secure the sat wires in their plugs and the plugs into the vbar unit.

I went with what this guy did.

With a BEC and mini vbar you will have to use a Y connector so the BEC and one of the servos shares the same port.

ok so i got the sensor all hooked up... its weird the sensor is backwards from all the other plugs...

a couple of questions, i have soft start in my cc program but it seems to start pretty hard... i noticed the governor act never came on.. i did see current and requested moving...

how do yall start up the heli to not get huge amp spikes, is it best to put it into TH and move the stick above half so the gov is enabled and does ramp limit?

oh and i found out why i was getting soo many rx errors on that log, i have it set to 11ms instead of 22ms

I use the vbar softstart. And the castle soft start
I dont use the castle bailout. I only us the vbar bail out. Then end points are just 100 by 100.

So you have castle set at soft startup? Mines at medium now... And you don't have a curve to startup but just at 100 flat? What about the light in the program.. I just want to make sure it's working before I go fly

They are different motors. So put 4 in pole count in tab 2 gov settings.

Did you do gear ratio correct in tab 2 gov?

Did you watch MeMel gov videos?

the number you need to enter for "sensor configuration" is half the pole count. everybody gets that one wrong the first time.

the pole count is the number of magnets.

don't request 447rpm. try 2300rpm.

Vbar has a minimum throttle parameter. its what it goes to if the gov sensor fails. you don't want the motor to turn off. but for what ever reason, its not accessible from the software in electric mode.. anyway. i access that thru my potable control panel. its a mess. but the pay off is totally worth it. i think the default is 70%.

so don't request 447rpm. try 2300rpm. 447 is bellow the min, especially with out blades.

Well I had max Headspeed set to 2300, I had my normal throttle curve set to 0 at low then 60% flat line, when I brought the stick up to Max in normal mode it is 60% and the program is showing requested that low, the actual seems right but idk why the program is showing requested only in the 400's... How long does the soft start take to disengage?
