Default Storing nitro fuel

Hey guys, new to the nitro scene here. Been flying electric helis for a while but am now dabbling into nitro rc's. Now because Helifreak is the best site on earth, I figure I would ask my question here. Any how, I know air is bad for nitro fuel and if you follow good practice like keeping fuel stored in a dry, dark, cool place and squeezing out the air from the original container helps prevent moisture build up. I don't know if I will be able to use up all my fuel before winter. Unopened jugs will be fine but an opened 1/2 jug should last 4-5 months of storage as long as I do the above mentioned. I wonder if there is another way to store fuel to prolong it's shelf life once opened. I thought about those water camel packs that mountain bikers use. So, here's my thought, I work in the health care field and have access to catheter bags (new I might add in case you were inquiring). So, my thought was to transfer my 1/2 bottle of nitro fuel into a catheter bag and squeeze out all the remaining air then cinch off the tubing to prevent air from getting in. Looking for input from all the pro's out there. I don't know the composition material of the bags but they have to be able to endure fluids and not leak so I think as long as I don't get air in there, it should work?
