New Rail 716 F3C speed
Matt,
I would like to know more about these blades like weight and airfoil and other specs compared to the original 716, I have used the 716 for the last two years for 3D and speed on my TDR and different brands with great results. What will I notice if I use them for apeed flying. Thanks. |

While I don't know the technical information you are looking for, Matt can chime in on that if he feels he wishes to share his secret formula
BUT I have been running the F3C blades on my Speed machine since they released and the differences are apparent. The F3C blades track extremely well in very FFF. The heli feels incredibly stable and I have been able to tune the FBL for speed a bit easier. The original 716s did very well as you know from experience, but these do make a difference when talking about extreme forward flight speeds.

I have been testing the F3C/Speed Rail 716mm blades on my Forza 700 custom installed in my Staysee III fuselage over the weekend. I immediately noticed they're much more stable in windy conditions and track extremely well in fast forward flight.
I need to play around with my FBL controller settings some more to get the feel that I like but my initial opinion is they are a very good design for big air and fast flying styles. |
