Default What happened to the Dahls?

Haven't seen a post from them for quite a while.
Are they still flying Mikados or are they waiting for the new 700?
Just curious.

Dave posted so often that it is unusual not to see anything from them on the forums. They were great contributors to the hobby and gave great insight!

People have lives. In earlier days don't forget Kyle was only a pilot. Now he is an employee of Mikados so he is a busy guy. As for Dave well he and his wife I suspect are enjoying life and some sunshine in California where they reside. This hobby can sometimes be consuming, therefore its understandable if Daves' taking a break from the online chatter.

I always enjoyed his insight information and experience from logo frames/setups he maintained. He shares info and knowledge... hopefully the Californian sunshine is good on them

All-in-all, when he finally gets back home to the States, he'll have been on the road straight for a month or more.

Just noticed this thread...(I don't haunt the forums as much as I used to).

Kyle's busy traveling around the world at the behest of Mikado. He's been to China, Brazil, Columbia, Canada, all the usual places in the U.S., Germany, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Israel and India. Currently of course he's in Germany @ Rotor Live. Kyle currently resides in the state of Utah (about 6-7 hours from Bakersfield), and that means I have my shop all to myself again

Me? Enjoying the empty nest I've got a three car garage full of helis, pattern ships, EDF's, IMAC type large scale models and sailplanes. Currently playing around with large scale aero-tow type sailplanes.

When Kyle was around, I was focused on helis as a necessity. Left to my own devices (like now), I tend to wander in any R/C direction that I fancy at the moment.

Life is treating me well.

Great to hear from you Dave. Sounds like life is treating you well. I couldn't imagine a three car garage forget about full of rc stuff! Wish we had more space around here for sail planes.
