Thanks, will order some tonight. I did learn the one way bearing can be changed, but everyone is right, the time spent to do it does not add up to a good cost savings. Ordered two main gears with bearings today.

Thanks again

Ok, have a new main gear and bearing from the Blade 400, new 325 wooden blades, and went completly through the head set-up based on the tutorial videos. One thing I learned as a ccpm noobie, is do not trust the factory set up. Had to make major changes to get everything leveled out. Now ready to do some blade tracking, but it is raining here, so will have to wait. Thanks to all for all the tips.

Went through the complete head, started at the servos and worked my way up to, including blade tracking. Thanks for all the videos, and tips. Flew it today, wind was marginal, but was able to get off the ground, hover a bit in a spot behind my house that was sheltered. Got too high and the wind caught it, got it back down. Confidence buidling, flew it again and got too far over and dug the blades in the ground. Looked at furst like the onloy damage was the blade tips, but after spinning it up again, I think the main shaft is bent, has a bit of a wobble. Question, I am on the way to South America, so will not have any parts here in time to do any replacements, so if I am going to put a new shaft in it, is it worth while to install a metal head? Also, what blades offer a compromise between reliability and survivabilty? Thanks for all responses.

Bugster, thanks a lot for cleaning up the main page of the Belt CP forum, looks clean now, and I hope even more people will find the supersticky useful this way, all items neatly grouped together. Great job, IMHO.

Anyone else notice? Thanks Bugster for including the additional stickies by Raf into the super stickie. Makes the top of the forum shorter, and allows more threads to fit on page 1. Nice one.

Cheers

Sutty
