FBL Ufly
Been a while since I've messed with the Ufly since its been needing some parts I'm thinking about doing a FBL conversion on it. I've seen some video but it really didn't look that stable. Has anyone her tried the FBL conversion yet?

AFter 6 months I can't make my Ufly fly..at most 5 seconds before it crashes, and I have the cb100 and it flies perfectly so I am not a beginner...I am desesperate with it so any conversion, kit, tip or whatever will be the best thing for this 2011!!

I viewed the FBL conversion a while back as well and wasnt really impressed with the stability. The same guy though came up with a Belll Hillier conversion that looked very promising and there should be an "Extreme" bell hillier conversion kit availlable early this year from MIracle Mart.

The CB100 has a 45deg phased flybar, and the Ufly is 90deg, so they will fly completly differant. 45deg phased flybars are used on beginners heli's such as COAX and CB100/CB180/Madhawk etc. This design inhibits forward flight. You could also try a simulator such as RealFlight, Pheonix, Aerofly to get your hands used to real RC helicopter fly characteristics. |
