Art-Tech Falcon 3D problems
Hi! Can someone help me with my wonderful Falcon 3D that is being a big pain in the butt?? When it's working right it's a dream, but it does funny things all the time. When I first got it, I flew it totally stock and it flew great. But then after maybe 30 flights on it, the elevator servo started to shift starting position or main trim position. Mid-flight the servo just decided to change trim position to hard over forward. It moved way out of reach of trim knob adjustment--couldn't get correct trim back. So I had to land and take the servo arm off and manually reposition the servo arm to the correct trim. I would fly, and then again after a few flights the trim would shift again. So I called Hobby Lobby and they said it's a bad servo, so I installed a new E-Flite servo, and it fixed the problem--at least for a while.
So, flew for a while and whammo--did it again. So, I'm thinking, "this has to be a radio problem," so I uninstalled the Art-Tech system and installed my JR X9303 2.4 system. NOW, the servo does the same thing, ANDDD, my tail wags like an excited dog!! Turned the HH gyro gain, this is the stock HH gyro that came with the RTF package, and still it's wagging like a happy dog! What gives?? What could be causing the servo to shift like that if it's not the radio?? And why is my gyro that WAS rock solid with the Art-Tech radio, wagging with my 9303. I have no way of knowing how Art-Tech set up their radio, but when I installed the 9303, everything seemed exactly the same as far as set-up goes. Only noticeable difference is the wagging.
I'm at a loss. Can someone please help me out? I love this little helicopter!
Thanx, GFX
