My guess is that they've put all their work on getting the eXo ready...

It's the same here in Europe.

If you are handy you can modify a boom from the MSH protos,
unfortunately these are also getting harder to come by

Welcome to the greatest downfall of owning a Compass. They fly great, but part support sucks.

You'll hear stories of cleaning up the supply chain, but any positive changes seem to be short lived.

If that's the case they should have made enough parts for their other helis beforehand, they had plenty of time.

Who's going to buy an EXO if parts support for their other Compass helis is terrible? I sure as hell wouldn't.

You can buy Protos tailbooms all day, carbon and aluminum are both in stock at MSH USA?? Might be hard to find the short ones since the stretch boom is standard equipment now but certainly not hard to find Protos parts even though it was released in 2008. Available in the US, Canada and Italy so noone should have any issues finding them.

Guy I know has a Warp and was always bragging about it so I almost jumped when I saw one in the classifieds for dirt cheap. Glad I checked parts availability first, nothing worse than getting stuck with a heli you can't get parts for

Warp still sells at a premium price for a 450 and you can't even get parts? Atrocious. Can still get parts for my Mini Protos even though it was replaced by the 380. Very small number of people requested them so MSH made a couple runs to please them. That's customer loyalty which in turn generates loyal customers. The way it should be

I hope they get it together for the sake of those who already own one of their products

There are limited parts still available in US: ProStarHobby, RcExperience, AmainHobbies, etc. I buy Compass parts from HobbyHangers in New Zealand now. It takes longer to get parts but they have most of the parts available than US online stores.

Well, maybe You can - on my side of the pond, I can't...

I haven't checked availability in the US...so my earlier remark was somewhat ignorant.

Sorry about that

Compass need to understand that I simply will not buy a warp or the new exo even though I'd love to.
You need a robust parts solution Compass. I'm not alone in my sentiment here. You're loosing out on many sales.

Such poor management and customer support. There's only so long a company can go on like that.

I spoke to Steve McFall of ExperienceRC last night. He told me that, and showed me the tracking information, that a HUGE parts order is being delivered today. I don't know what was ordered exactly, but from what the team told Steve a lot of Chronos parts were ordered.

Give ExperienceRC a day or two to get the parts up on the site.

Actually I'm the one that should be sorry. Since the parts are made in Italy I assumed they would be easier to find on your side of the pond than here in the U.S.

Apparently I was mistaken

To be fair they do not seem to be set on world domination, if they were they'd be shifting low quality kits and advertise a lot...seems to work for other brands...

I see them as a innovative boutique brand, as such they probably have very limited resources/manpower.

It's going to be interesting to see when the eXo comes out, if they can keep up with spares

I won't buy one, it's way to hardcore for me...by the look of it nothing much comes close in that class

But I do understand the guys that have patiently waited a long time for one

..and I do agree it would be nice if complete spares for the Warp would become available again...not that I need any right now - knock on wood

Still Experiencerc does not have parts for all Compass models. I just looked at Warp 360 and Atom 500, still the same - low inventory in parts

I kinda suspect that no Compass parts are made in Italy, why would that be?

The company is somewhere in the far east, the designer is from Germany and Compass is very popular there... no Italy involved AFAIK.

Protos booms in the EU:

www.goo.gl/PbjMwc

www.goo.gl/YgaVTZ

Warp boom in the EU:

It´s sometimes easier to search in German, tailboom would be "Heckrohr".

Yep, there seems to be some stock scattered over the continent...

My dealer here in Sweden was out, still are I guess - haven't heard a word in 6 months, still took my money though.
(I have taken my business elsewhere...)

I looked at the usual suspects, FastLad, Midland, eRC, WoH - they were all out.

It didn't occur to me to look at my old pal Höllein didn't even know he sold helis..

Thanks

A large or small shipment means nothing now if in a year from now you need a part.

They need a constant flow, not surges. Sorry to say they'll probably never get it worked out and it'll be their demise like so many other boutique brands from long ago.

Designing, engineering and manufacturing are nothing without engineered logistical after- sales support.

Sadly I'd love a warp and the exo would be my next heli, but they'll not get my money and I won't have their helis. Real bummer Some of the nicest looking stuff around.

Experience RC is the new distributor for Compass no longer prostar hobby. Experience is dedicated to keeping compass parts in stock from here on out not just a surge.
