Default Robird + Atom 500 = GOOD

Just a fyi.

I ripped the 3GX from my Atom 500 and set up my new Robird from hobbking
and wow. What a difference. Feels smooth like BX. Haven't done any 3D yet as this was just hover and FFF.

Feels nice so far and the setup was painless. Software works really well.

Glad to hear it. I also have a Robird to try out on my Trex 500. Have you tried out the vibe analysis yet?

Anything new on this thing? Got allot of cool features for the price. Thinking of trying this on my Warp.

I don't think there is anything new that isn't available on other much more expensive FBL controllers.

The main features it has is remote ele/ail gains, vibration log, governor with included HobbyWing sensor, and separate power bus for those wanting to run HV cyclic.

Even if you decide you don't like how it flies, you still get a gov sensor you can use with other FBL and a vibe analyzer you can just strap to your heli to get diagnostic info.

How's it working out on the 500?
So far mine is doing great. Just need to tweak a few minor settings, but I trust it will do the job just fine.
Debating in selling my 7200bx and buying one for my 450.

I'm still tweaking mine on my Compass Atom. Weather is crap so I have only weekends to try it out and restrictions on 500 size heli's at indoor. LOL

Most I have gotten is another test hover in the back yard. All seems nice but I am limited to space back there.

If we get a real warm day soon I will test more.
