seems to fly pretty good .
i dont have a real T600 to compare to but i like the way it flys.

there are two versions. one with floats.

new versions of the flight phyics were made.
the tail is snappy now

still a lil bit of the main blade wobble but they fly good

aluminum head upgrades modeled
flys like a dream now

futher testing i noticed the tail not solid
i fixed it easy
go into the editor
then eclectronics
pick heading hold gyro
8th option down
heading hold gain (%) change that to 25
and your good to go :mrgreen:

Tail is a bit slower than my real one but other than that it flies a lot more realistically.

OK I give up.... I downloaded it and copied ALL the files into the PLANES folder.
Didnt show up in the list

Then I imported the KEX file and now it shows up BUT I still get a nitro sound and smoke... How do you get the TORQUE and Battery files loaded?

Download the file.

Select File -> Import-> G3X

Select the file

Done

make sure you download it as a G3Xfile too or the inport wont work

I had to Import the zip file .

Look for the link to the Nonpariel Trex 600.zip here somehwere here on the freak , its a killer trex600

This one flys like its got the align battery on it , the other one on the web here flys like its got flightpowers on it ....

I seem to be the only one having a serious tail control issue with this download. The tail will not hold and tends to go where it wants.
any ideas?

turn the knob couter clockwise (to the left)
that will turn the gain up on the gyro

It doesn't work for me also,,, with the nob all the way down still big tall wag.
And some times of spool up the helicopter will crash big time!!! I've tried all the tricks they have posted and it still doesn't stop the crashing and tail wag!!!
Oh, well,,
I realy don't understand why Real Flight JUST DOESN'T MAKE A TREX FOR G 3.5???? :?
It's one of the most popular helicopters out there!!!

Help! I can successfully import the Trex 600 model into G3 but when I select it, I get an error message saying "Can't find 600mm blade definition, using default." (or something like that). It comes up with main blades about the size of the tail blades. Amusing for about 30 seconds (won't quite leave the ground) but now I want to really make it work.

Any suggestions?

Hi

the first versions were made with the Beta 042 and it seems to have difficuties with high power electric helis

Changing to gas power or turbine didn't make this terrible head wobbling i have seen in 042.
But yesterday I downstepped to 3.5.033 and sudenly the Rex 600 is very smooth

so here are the both versions wihich I saved in 3.5.033

the Rex without floaters has rapidly roll + nick :glasses2:
the floaters version is reduced for flying as a trainer

Simulation -> import -> g3x -> ready in folder custom planes

They don't work at all!!!! And they won't import at all!! So I tried to just put them into the right folders and it will come up but can't find colorschemes file..
Oh ,, it will fly,,, spins like crazy when spool up... And it all white.

look like windows see the new files as a zip.
when you go to download em
save
then at the bottom where it says save as type choose all files.
add .G3X to the file name then hit save.
you can then save as a g3x file and it will import.

I just hit download. It saved it as a G3X file and hit import. That was it!
