Default Alternate Tail Boom for X50e

Is there another tail boom that can be used for the x50e. $50.00 bucks for a tail boom does not appeal to me and is keeping me away from this model. Anyone have any ideas?

Getting this part number: PV0521-2 - Just the boom from their X50B Torque Tube Convertion set TTRE4579, it is priced $7.99 at Tower Hobbies:

Helikraft has some OEM parts available in black, blue or titan color (2 for $8.00)

just keep in mind that's the all aluminum boom. The standard boom that's more expensive is much lighter. It's extremely thin aluminum laminated with carbon , hence the expense.

That's as cheap as a 450 boom. Sweet. Need to stock up
