A thought for thumbers...
Unlike most transmitters out there the DS-16 has removable finger grips.
I'm not suggesting that there is a thing wrong with the ones that come with them, however this does allow more flexibiity. There could potentially be difference sizes, or custom molded finger grips made just for you. Just a thought.

These would be easy to print on our ABS rapid-prototype machine.

Now I just need to get my artwork together for my first attempt at a vinyl skin
I doubt it will work well enough, but I thought I would give it a shot before going to a more rigid printed thin plastic sheet. This thing is just too much fun to play with. Just so many things can be done with it. I might do a back panel vinyl skin first just for grins. That might be workable. Maybe Zebra stripes and my name and reward if found phone number.

Reward if found??
Are you suspecting that your cats could drag the TX outside somewhere? I mean, yes, we all know you've got at least one disruptive cat, but maybe you should just talk nicely to him and explain what he's done wrong... Now where can I get that locking switch without having to pay more than the switch itself for shipping? |

First picture I see from the rear and I'm happy to see that there are grips there. For some reason I imagined it would be flat.
Since I went all FBL the TX hasn't played a very important role in tweaking my helis but with the DS there is all this new dimension in telemetry and specially in voice telemetry that has me all excited. I'm really looking forward to getting my unit Been reading a lot here and I think there's enough material to help me on the initial setup. I'm afraid I might have to ask some basic questions too...
