Default Futaba 10C &CGY750

I am flying several Helis with a CGY 750 and a Futaba 10C trans with the ail&elev tied to the same switch to switch from avs to norm mode.My question is has anyone tied this to throttle hold as when you go to hold the elev&ail will go to normal lowering the gain when doing autos reducing the risks of tipovers.

hi i seem to remeber trying a similar thing
you can do these changes through program mix option on 10c

by selecting the master slave and the control button and the plus or minus %

i use this to disarm the gov on the 10 c when im testing the nitro engine

basically you would add a % + or minus and use switch g hold to then lower your avc gain in that flight mode

so just did a double check
to do the hold area i did
master ch8 slave ch8 switch G posi - down on the rate H - 16 brought gain down
for normal and flight mode on to have higher gain than mode 2 i did
master ch8 slave ch8 switch E posi - up&cntr on the rate H + 7 brought up from 60 to 65

you can see if it works by looking at the cgy750 screen on the gains as it cycles

cheers good luck hope this helps

No need to go to normal mode for autos, just lower the gain in hold.

With the Futaba 10C you have to adjust the Egn an Agn in the CGY750 and you can only adjust the rudder gain remotely, you can switch from AVS to Nor with this transmiter. When you go to hold you are still in AVS mode.

I just looked at the 10C manual and it looks like if you set the switch type in the gyro menu to COND you should be able to set a gain for each flight mode and if you want normal or AVCS.

you can use the end points to adjust the gain once set to a switch

ie channel 8 is where i have the ali ele gains i have a switch assigned that gives me rate mode and head hold ( on all three axis - rudder as well ) found this easiest
set the end point to say 60 / 70 at high and 50 at low

then go into cgy 750 and set the gains from 100 to 92 i think ( leave tail alone only ail ele settings. look at cgy 750 main screen your displayed gain and your end point should match so now you can change your ail ele gains from your radio

also tail rate for say sport is 450 max if you look in the rudder menu screen when you move your rudder with gain on via switch the figure exeeds that amount with 100 endpoints i change it to about 95 each side then i get around the 450 rate. i then finalise my piro speed using duel rates.

hope above helps cheers

I've been autoing my G4 with AVCS turned off. Works fine.

As far as conditions and the 10C, you can only do that with rudder gain.
