There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of canopies available for the X50e. That is a nice one for sure.

Canomod can customize a canopy for you. I sent an email Monday morning and got a response that evening.

Lucky dog! It's been over two years now since I have been out of the hobby and I miss it very much. I can't believe how many new helis there are now since I left. I like your X50E, it looks great. Wish I had one! When I get back into this hobby again, I will seriously look at an X50E.

Good to see you post again.

This is a really fun machine. 1/2 lb lighter than most. After 100 flights its gotten very noisy and I had the feathering shaft bolts back out almost ejecting both blades. :-) time for some maintenance.

Its a good think you caught that in time onthesnap, that could be dangerous.
I use red loc-tite on feathering shafts, blue just doesn't hold up. I've seen blue come loose several times. If I can't get the red loose 2 minutes of heat applied to the bolt head with a soldering iron will get it every time. Those are larger bolts so they shouldn't be a problem.
