Default Koby BEC adjustment

Just purchased a Koby and I'm needing to change the BEC voltage.
After a bit of Googling, am I correct in thinking I can only do this via the prog disk or Bluetooth module?

For the Koby it can only be done through a prog disc

Far out, it never ends.
Apparently there's a new, cheaper progdisk coming out?

Yeah should be out sometime shortly after the jive pro 120 is finished.

Yes only the ProgDisc on Koby and Kosmik.
For these it does not use the Progcard 1 or 2 emulation that the Jazz Jive use.

Can always buy a used Progdisc if find one. It will work on Jazz, Jive, Heli Jive, Jive Pro, Koby and Kosmik.
Just update it to latest firmware before using, on Kosmik & Jive Pro especially!

The interface is kinda klunky, but ok once hang of it.

New version will be better for sure, but obsolete version probably have same functions.

Apparently the new version will be cheaper but no one knows the release date nor the price.
Why would I buy used and why can I not program bec voltage via sticks, it's ridiculous.

Well, used works and may be available now.
Even with Castle ESC or BEC you need hardware to use out of the package. Just too bad its not a $20 piece of hardware needed like Castle, or free with coupon.

Used may work but may be more expensive than the new replacement.
