Kosmik bolt shrink wrap ( size/type )
Does anyone know what size and type of shrink wrap that comes with the Kosmik cable kit is.
I've cut mine open a few times and expect with the new fuse support from Linus coming, I expect that I will do some trial and error with this and would like to have some spare shrink wrap. I've also ordered some NyoGel 760G and will be shrink wraping my motor cable bolts again. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BOMKGPW

Measured mine, if you put them flat on the table and measure them they are 30mm give or take 1 mm

Shrink wrap has different levels of shrinkage and different material properties. I like how the stock shrinkwrap works. They shrink quite a bit and are thick and like rubber when they are done. That leaves a nice protective covering. I have similiar sized black shrink wrap but it is a very different material and much more brittle when it is done shrinking.

I'm hoping that a 3/4" diameter 2" long 3:1 shrink is about right, but I'm still not sure about the material.

Mark look here the best stuff around 2-1, 3-1 Etc! And check out the F6 woven wrap for protection it is much better that that braid stuff ,I use the F6 woven wrap in 3/16 for the Master and Slave! WOH sells the same stuff as fabric tubing and I used to have to get it in Germany! http://www.wirecare.com/heatshrink-tubing.asp http://www.wirecare.com/products.asp?prodline=f6w I double up 3-1 ratio Dual wall adhesive shrink tubing on my 8mm bullets and they are very protected for a crash or chafe and a lot more manageable.

I've got some samples on the way from a place that I may have do some custom printing on 3 colors of shrink wrap
Don't ask... There is obviously no limit to how far someone will go to personalize something Thanks for reminding me about that woven wrap! I had looked at that a while ago and completely forgotten about it! That 3:1 double wall adhesive wrap does look go too. You can add adhesive under any shrinkwrap. http://www.buyheatshrink.com/heatshr...k-adhesive.htm
