The canopy cutouts have not been discussed yet. I think it will be somewhat "precut", but the user will more than likely be ultimately responsible for trimming to fit their own pipe, this is the way we do it now with Extreme and Tempest canopies as it is literally impossible to have a one size fits all canopy.

Any more info on when it will be coming? I was thinking of picking one up for my extra engine. :glasses:

Well, I talked to Tim today, he was helping me with an issue I have with a Stratus, and he said the glow version by Feb. , which is fine by me, right around tax time.

February or even March sounds realistic. Tim has been very busy releasing the electric version and the nitro has been put in the back burner for a little. We're going to be running some tests on it soon too and if those are successful, then it may be released by February, otherwise March will probably be more realistic.

Just checking in on the nitro, electric just started shipping. Figured I would give it a shameless bump. I appreciate all the hard work you guys put in getting this kit out.
I am looking forward to adding this one to my shop.

Well it has got a 4mm flybar, belt to the main gear, and a normal belt driven tail for the cheaper crashes.
Are there any European team pilots flying this thing in contests already? If I can get enough $$$ I'll use it in Dutch 3D 2007 (Competing against the masters). That would be awesome.

The thing that is stopping me from buying the nitro and electric is where all the electronics are mounted its very out in the open and close to the motor, i see those servo gears will be disposable with how direct setup the servos are.
i dont like, i think i will go buy another synergy. |

Any model with the canopy off and the electronics are in the open.
The Razor electronics mounting locations work fine. I am seen a few of the Razors crashed pretty hard. Servo gear strippage was no different than any other model. As with any model different type crashes will tear up different type parts. Razor is no different than any other model as for crashes. David |

I agree with David. The Razor actually crashes very well, I can tell you that form experience I run 9451 servos (metal gears) and have yet to strip the first one after at least 4 or 5 crashes. Also, never hurt any carbon parts, just shafts and took the boom and belt once.

The new tentative release date is end of March provided everything goes well. We will more than likely be flying this machine at Birmingham this year, but then hopefully it will have already gone into production.
The only videos and pics available for this machine can be found on my site at http://www.bertrc.com/ |
