Yes. That was the main criterion for being listed.

so basically, there is not much room on the fbl 6hv to put electronics so for much of what i see the electronics are put pretty much in the same place from heli to heli.... What is the range of weight for 2 lipos total in grams to balance out the heli

Voltz 3300mah 35C or Nano-tech 3300 25C are probably the best choices.

Somewhere in the range of 800-1000g, probably cheating more toward the top of that scale.

[QUOTE=Murator;2592154]hi guys
I'm the guy in the video, I have the atom 6hv and I have flown with Turnigy Battery 3000mAh to 3300mAh 40c 35c 30c 20c 30c and 25c 3700mah rhino, the rhino is the best, the center of gravity is pefect, weight is not noticeable and the bug has plenty of power, also took the microbeast, perfect, the canopy should be withdrawn slightly back holes.

Hi ,I try 25c 3700mah rhino on my 6hv n the CG is Super nose heavy !! How u manage to get the correct CG?? Pls advance. Thks

I also have a pair of these Rhinos and they fit and work fine. I still like the Nano-techs better though. CG seems ok but it's definitely not super nose heavy as you describe. Combined weight for both is 1180g.

May I know how u guy get the CG ? I always chk my heli CG with holding the main blade vertical n make sure the heli tail stay horizontal position. Is that correct ?? When I try put in the 3700mah Rhinos heli nose is on 6 o'clock position. Is that consider nose heavy ? Pls correct me if I'm wrong. Thks

Correct, as long as you either disengage the pinion from the main gear or you check it twice: once with the tail pointing left and once with it pointing right.

I am getting some of the new Turnigy Nano-Tech 6S 3300mAh 45C packs (Just bought them today).
The Turnigy Nano-Tech 6S 3300mAh 25C fit no issues so hopefully the 45C should be no problem. Will let you all know.

I just got a set of Spyder 3300 30C that weigh 538g a piece after a cell went bad on my Nanos @ 63 cycles. These new packs are physically quite a bit larger than my Punch 35C 3300s @ 490g. The packs barely fit under the canopy and the heli is nose heavy. This is all on the original style frames, so seems I need to mod my frames.

I have had fair luck with my Turnigy (NON Nano-Tech) 3300mAh 30C and 2650mAh 30C packs. They have lasted over a year now, nearly almost two. Hopefully my good fortune will continue but if I have a bad batch of Nano-Techs, I will most probably get some Voltz packs.

Anyone tried the Gens Ace batteries? Looking to get some more packs, just getting thrown off a bit by some of the measurements of the "packs that fit". I currently have Hyperion 6s 2600 45c's that I use in my Atom, VERY close to the 35c dimensions so they should fit, but they're CONSIDERABLY taller and shorter than all the other listed packs. I don't have my 6HV yet (hopefully today) but what am I missing here? Maybe if I was actually looking at how the packs go into the bird that would help me.

I fly the gens ace batteries in my 6hv and odin E. The 2600's fit great and you have room to move them around. I fly pretty hard for 5 min. They are warm but have plenty o power with just the 25c packs. Plus they aren sale for 35 each. They are a different shape than my tunigy 2650's

Turnigy Nano-Tech 3300mAh 45C packs also fit in the FBL frames.
I would assume the 35C packs would also fit in the FBL frames.

Didn't see these ones listed in the first post, Sky Lipo 3000mah 30C on 6HV FBL, $41 each at hobbypartz. They perform great!
