What version is this Blade CX--?
Hi,
A friend gave me an old heli without body to fix up, he can't remember what model it is exactly but I figured that it is a Blade CX-- from the few unopened parts he has. What I cannot tell is what exact model it is: cx, cx2, cx3 etc... Maybe someone here can help? What's the difference between these models anyway? It uses 2s lipos if that makes any difference, hopefully the pictures can tell you more. |

Based on the part number for the 3 in 1 unit its a CX-3. The CX-2 has a different one.

Thanks Mike for the quick help, I agree that it must be CX3 (makes me feel better!)
I found a good description of each Blade CX model here (if anyone else is interested): http://www.blade-cp-pro.com/blade-cx3.htm CX4 is quite different than the others (hinged blades, different skids, uses 3s battery) All other CX use 2s batteries CX3 has heading lock gyro in the 3 in 1 control unit (EFLH 2001) while CX2 has a different control unit without heading lock gyro (EFLH1023) |
