Default Do i need to use mode 6 to use governor headspeed below 50% throttle on the helijive?

I have just got a new Helijive HV120 that im replacing my old Jive HV80 with.
Do i need to use mode 6 to run lower governor headspeeds then 50%.
Om the HV80 i just eset mode 4 and fly as low as i wont.
Is mode 4 on the helijive different from mode 4 on the helijive?

Thanks
Next question.
Does scopion 5020-450 need KSA mode.
Something fishy happened to the heli at the fifth flight with these motor and the Jive HV 80 at mode 4 and becouse of the crash the ESC is dented and toast but the motor stopped before the crash and most possibly caused the crash itself.

typically most of the non LE scorpion motors need KSA mode. Now there are exceptions to this i have flown several that didn't need it but simple way to check do a full pitch climb out and then abruptly return to zero pitch be ready for an auto at this point because if it needs ksa mode it will more than likely shut the motor off as it ramps the timing down and looses commutation.

And most possibly there you have the cause of the crash but here it happened in an inverted manouver litle distance away from me without hearing the headspeed dropping, it fealt like i just lost all lift and controll and down it came.
