Default DX6i - all birds left servo drops

Trying to help a friend. He has several helis, and 3-4 planes. He did not fly anything for about two weeks and when he got back all birds want to roll right. As soon as he applies throttle the right servo drops - this happens to everything he has. He instelled new batteries after this happened the first time - the old batteries were charged.

We bound to my DX8 and everything flies fine.

I suggested removing batteries and letting it sit for a week or so and then setting up new models. He brought a new DX6 but I would like to know what went wrong and if we can fix he could use it on his SIM.

Any thoughts would be welcome.

I know this might sound overly simple, but perhaps there's a mix off, or a trim button going bad?

If you have ruled out an accidental programming issue then send it in for service.

Make a new model and check the trims and monitor screen to verify. It could be a bad pot.

The dx6i is prone to corrupted memory, especially if the Tx runs completely out of batteries or one knocks loose and it resets without the 'shutting down' screen displayed. I can reprogram itself randomly too... Happened to me.
