Looks like the FCC finally granted approval for the DC-16...

With any luck I'll have one in my hands near the end of next week; that means next weekend I should be able to convert my Goblin over to Jeti and also try the HC3SX I purchased during the black friday sale.

Looking forward to some "hands on" time with this TX.

Yes, the FCC has approved the Jeti transmitter. I expect that we will have radios in the
hands of those who pre-ordered the D-16 by the end of the week. Makes a nice Christmas present.

Lou, does this suggest the DS version should go smoothly or is it still too early to tell?

We are all hoping that the approval on the DS-16 will be smoother now that the DC-16 is approved. They have a similar radio so the FCC should consider them the same. But, who knows, our government can do squirrelly things.

I am considering starting a program where you can buy a DC-16 now and return it for full credit on a DS-16 as long as the radio is in resalable shape. This will all depend on interest.

If anyone is interested in this program, let me know.

Wow Lou, that trade-in offer is extremely generous.

Brent, if I have my DC-16 in hand by the end of next week I should have it up and flying by next weekend (weather permitting.) If you want I can make the drive over to Livermore so you can check it out.

That's the beauty of this deal. As long as I get a clean radio back, it won't cost you a cent. The program will allow the trade-in for 30 days after the DS-16 is released. That way you can set all your models up now on the DC-16, save the files on your PC, then load them back to the DS-16 and everything will transfer. You will switch out the radio and case, everything else including all accessories you keep.

I may limit this to the first five takers.

I am hoping this program will spur interest in both Jeti and my shop.

Woohoo, the Fedex tracking number for my DC16 was just emailed to me. Should be here next Tuesday.

The receivers are still lagging a little behind... hopefully the FCC comes through in time!

Check out the telemetry modules that are available now. I am working on setting up all the Jeti product offerings on my site so if you need something you don't see contact me.

I am having fun setting up a T-Rex 700 on a 7 channel receiver to a Skookum 540 FBL controller using PPM. Not flying it, but seeing how easy it is to set things up and configure the radio. So far it has been easy without using the manual. This is one sweet radio. I am now setting up the voice based telemetry.

Shortly, all instruction videos will be posted as stickies.
