That's a great find. It's actually one of the few vids where I liked watching Tareq's flying simply because it wasn't so totally manic and hyperactive.
It also goes to show what can be done with a humble little K3D with an OS50 and a flybar!

Thanks for sharin!
It's the first softer 3d flight from three, and it was smooth, extremely smooth

]Hahahah....sort of shames me to think I can't do what he can, and my model has definitely more power and a good FBL setup. I just love the man's style. I really want more cowbell in my 700N, but clearly, it has enough. I am just that bad...LOL. I enjoyed watching it too!!!
Since I've been burning fuel again,, I've begun watching his nitro flying a lot. I've noted some distinct areas of his flying which are especially noteworthy for the likes of ham fisted pilots like me... - He flies relatively close without running too far out, thus conserving use of pitch and doesn't waste time flying away and back - those times he does, he uses it to build speed to help his collective more effective - He never stays in the pitch for long - short jabs of pitch for stopping, accelerating, ascending, descending - Between moves, or in transitions, he often pauses to allow the engine some recovery to stay in the power band, and avoiding bogging - I also notice he conserves momentum very well - keeps the bird moving to help haul through the moves and allows his available power and pitch to be most effective...probably biggest thing in this flight where power is pretty limited

I started to pick up on the concept of 'less is more' a while back with my 3D+. I always found the hyper 50 to be plenty powerful enough. It just seemed most of the time I couldn't stay out of the pitch long enough to keep it from bogging. I never did master the governors and flying at near 100% only seems to tick it off if you completely unload the disc and have it way too lean, but it takes time to develop the sweet spot of feel and sound.
Your ears are your number one tool in getting it to fly right, then your eyes watching for smoke. When you get into a good rhythm it's like magic!
