Default Quad Mods?

Whos going to be the first to modify their quad? Weather the mods be for performance, or appearance. I have already seen lights, but that is about it.
When I get mine, i'm thinking of putting a car body on it. The stock body is the ONLY thing I dont like about it so far.
Will we be seeing any upgrades for this thing? Perhaps custom canopies, bodies?

Any chance of brushless mods? Or impossible due to the fact that there are four motors to contnd with?

I don't see brushless being impossible at all. It might be a little pricey but not impossible. I am sure we will see it soon the thing has only been out a little over a week.

I am patiently waiting lol.

I'm probably gonna go with the all time classic toy body.... You know, headless barbie.

Now that I have one of these in my hands, I have had a look at this quad. About the only reasonable aftermarket upgrades I can see, would be aluminum motor mounts with fins for heat sinks. I notice that there is a screw under the mount where it bolts to the carbon rod. Would be very easy to replace.
That, and some carbon fiber blades, and I think it would be pretty neat looking.

I think my first mod will be a more solid body of some sort that sits a bit higher up, even if it's smaller. All I really want is a good solid spot for the camera to mount. I already have something planned to use as well.

I ordered mine from ReadyHeli yesterday, and it shipped today. Should have it very soon

The car body is a good idea. In fact, a slot car body might be just about the right size and they are lexan so it shouldn't be too heavy. hmmmmm.....

I cut some slots into a servo box yesterday to make a ridged canopy which I'm using as a micro camera mount

I'd like to see that! Beats filming mine upside down and flipping the footage in post.

+1, I'd like to see it as well. I was eyeballing one of those small tapered Rubbermaid kitchen containers with the corners already notched for prop clearance.
