Smaller than Nano?
Now that Blade made the Pico, the smaller than the NQX quad quad. I'm wondering if they'll make a helicopter smaller than the Nano and is it possible to have a CP flybarless helicopter that tiny? I have seen many co-axial "toy" helicopters as small as a dime. But a CP flybarless 3D capable nat?

For the CP thing, No. And Blade just took the design from the Proto-X, it is almost a carbon copy.

Hisky is releasing an HCP60 smaller than the Nano CPX. But the FBL and how big the disk feels matters more. For indoor, my Trex 150's are easier to handle with BLHeli and 60% flat curve than the Nano CPX. Not out of the box mind you, but with BLHeil. The Trex 250 files bigger than the 300 CFX and it is much smaller. All just my opinion of course...
Here is the HCP60 |

Wow, that is pretty cool. Are you sure it's smaller than Nano? Would love to see a picture of that next to the NCPX to be sure. Wonder if the screws are smaller than Nano's! That's my only gripe with micro's, it's the darn screws!
Love the caption on the paper! "Size doesn't matter!" LOL!

Yes that's their thing. Worlds smallest CP heli. Testing wrapped in October so it should be release imminently. The FBL80 is already smaller than the Nano CPX so yes its definitely smaller.
I'll probably grab one because... well I don't have a reason just because |

That is cool. I was looking at Bangood's web site and saw two micro's I fell in love with. For the prices, I might pick up both and one of these.

While a CP one wouldn't work you could probably incorporate the motor reversing feature of the non CP quads that are 3d capable.

Exactly, cause we know how tiny quads can be and as they don't have the same mechanics as hell's, they are much easier to miniaturize and miniaturize again.
I wonder if Hisky is related to Esky?

I don't think they are. They have had contract relations with WLTOYS in the past but overall I think they are just a few years old. They started out making MCPX clones - dubbed the v922 in WLTOYS form. Now they make some original product.

Okay, did some research here.
Blade NCPX Rotor Diameter: 197mm HiskyHCP60 Rotor Diameter: 165mm So the little guy is smaller than the Nano. I am picking one up soon along with the Esky F150 and F300BL. F150 has a rotor diameter of 165mm where as the 300 has a rotor diameter of 355mm. It's possible that the scale fuselage from the F150 will fit the CP60, hope so cause it'll be better than having a fixed pitch heli.

HiSky announced a delay on the 60. Best they take their time but I'm impatient by nature!
For the record however, that Ares CP80 is without question a Hisky HCP80 V2 3D 6CH 3 Axis/6 Axis. The switchable 6-axis/3-axis gyro is dead giveaway let alone the design cues like the forward facing anti-rotation bracket and well... everything! So if you want to save $50 bucks.... |

I saw that one at my local hobby shop the other day. It is smaller than the Nano, but not much and I was very tempted.
I too rather wait for the 60 cause I just no it's gonna be so darn cute. Wait, did I say cute? I thought only girls say cute. Rats! But you know what I mean....................

HiSky is definitely a brand to watch, it could well replace Walkera as the main competitor to Blade in the near future. This is given that Walkera seems to be getting out of helis altogether. HiSky has a dedicated rep who is very active at RCG and are developing a number of other products at the moment. There is a 130X clone as well as transmitters that may be compatible with Deviation. They have also enlisted the KDS/Agile team to test out their products.
The dual brushless HCP100s is their latest release and that can take a Spektrum satellite. http://www.banggood.com/Hisky-HCP100...-p-926255.html
