Spartan Vortex on a turbine

Anyone used a Spartan Vortex FBL unit on their turbine? I've got one here that I've been contemplating swapping out with the black sensor Vbar I've got on the Intrepid right now, but not sure if it's a good "fit". Angelos said, "It'll fly" but he's got some concerns about the "low" (1650RPM) headspeed...

Maybe a better solution is to pull the BeastX off my 6HV, put the Vortex on that and put the BeastX on the turbine?

1650RPM is a regular head speed. When I said "in case your turbine has large slow blades" I mean things which are 90+cm long and running under 1100 RPM. Still it doesn't mean it won't work but it will probably need some tweaking to get the best out of it. On the mainstream helis we have Wizard defaults that do that for you.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I've got no problem tweaking. I think I'll start the surgery one evening this week.
