Default Couple bad weeks...

Been flying all all summer without an "incident" and then last week Heli #2 had a mechanical failure and went in REALLY hard. Almost a total loss. All the frame parts , tail boom, main and feathering shaft, main and tail blades, even the battery were total losses. Luckily all the electronics survived ok. Thankfully I have a spare airframe so all the electronics went on it and it's almost ready to fly again, then this week I stripped a main gear on Heli #1 while inverted. Not as bad, but main blades, tail boom, canopy, all pretty badly damaged. Looks like a lot of workbench time coming up....

That totally sucks, sorry to hear about it. Fix, fly, have fun.

Are you setting the pinion/gear lash to zero on the high point of the gear?
