406Duo "Signal Strength" bars

Can someone explain to me what the bars sitting next to each cell voltage mean? They look like cell phone signal strength indicators.

There's also some text next in the upper lefthand corner of the screen that flips between "B.CV" and "O.CC (or O.CO)". Is that an indicator when it's using constant current and constant voltage. Can someone explain this to me?

I've read the manual but perhaps missed this stuff? The manual is pretty bad...

It's the balance strength on each cell. More bars- more current applied to cell to bring it up.

I just got one too. Love it!

The manual is pretty good! I've read all 40 some pages of it after printing from the webpage. Most is useless info (like for nicads packs )

The orange and red bars are the balance current for each cell.


b. Cv balance mode constant voltage
Cc. Constant current. (Charge mode)
