Was going to ask the same question due to my esc failure.

I noticed this one is a lil cheaper vs the hercules models and a little lighter.

Thanks.

I did a search and found out people have been using them with success. I haven't yet found any bad info on it.

Thanks.

Default Medusa

Wow, looks like many of us are thinking about the Medusa at the same time. Can one of you guys already running the Medusa give us the detail of your set-up, i.e. what batteries are you running? voltage? I am happy with my set-up but was looking for a LiPo setup for a 600N.

Thanks

I've been using the Medusa BEC on my 600 for the last 6 months with no issues. Running Spektrum and 9451, 401 and 9254 digital servos.

Default Medusa Potencia 3.5 Amp 5v/6vHV BEC

The Medusa 3.5Amp HV BEC connect to your main battery ,in the 500 if useing 6s it would be 22.2volts this is a high voltage bec HV BEC which elimates the need for a battery to power your eletronic. Great BEC.

Example: On the male dean's connector solder the both the positive wires from the ESC and BEC to the + terminal and do the same with the negative wires. Basically you will be splitting off power from the main battery to both the ESC and BEC and that junction.

Great! Got it. Since you can have multiple voltages at the input, how do you select the voltage output?

Thanks for the info

Not sure if I follow what you mean by mutliple voltages at the input. If you are talking about how to select output voltages between 5v and 6v there is a jumper that let's you select this. I believe it is set to 6V by default, but double check the manual as it's been a while since i did it myself.

Just installed one today. Default is 6v (jumper installed) and if remove the jumper is 5v.

Thanks.

Thumbs up Jumpers

Sorry for the confusion, but you answered my question. I was trying to find out how you selected the 5 or 6 Volts for output, and you gave me the answer.

Thanks
