Default LAST thing to program Ikon set ups (banks?)

Ok, so I have one last thing to program, that is putting my self level on a momentary switch. Would love to have it programmed to pump in cyclic at time of activation but I WOULD SETTLE FOR IT TO JUST WORK!!!

Ok so running ds-16, R3 and ikon. Created function called bail on my sg switch. bail is on servo assignment 7.

I see the aux slider in ikon set up moving as I flip the switch BUT the current set up does not move.

God help me. Im sure it something quite simple as this has been the root of my entire evening.

Will worship the person that help me get this working!!! NEED TO FLY!!

Ikon setup banks are on aux2 channel 7 be default. If you are seeing travel on the aux2 channel then you simply arent moving it far enough.

I am admittedly not a lot more experienced with jeti than you. I have not tried to setup mixes yet.

WRT to the pump cyclic:

First I think you should do an experiment to see what happens with control input during self leveling. I would expect that during the self level, the controller ignores all input, levels the heli... but then what? wait a second and return full control, slowly mix control back in until you have full control?

The experiment, bank the heli 45 degrees and apply collective so the heli is moving away. Then hit the self level while keeping the collective applied. Does the heli level and immediately rise? If so applying collective at the same time as the self level should be fine.

My thought on how to do specifically what you asked, would be to ALSO tie the bail out switch to a new flight mode which has a "phase in time" <I forget what they call it> and a fixed collective position. This will require you to hold the bail out momentary switch until the heli starts moving up.

Appreciate the replies and information. Is there anyone here that has the banks switching on a switch? Can I get the ikon/brain file from you? Can we share models in our ds-16 radios? That file would be swell too. I just need to see how this is done. My email is johnny @ marinpastaworks . Com

So when I see the aux slider moving, to be clear, it is moving 100% in both directions. Maybe not far enough? I'm about ready to delete this model and start fresh.

Need to fly. My addiction is not being fed. Hahahaha

well call me daft!! I was trying and trying to get the banks switching on the ikon. Never did I think to go into the advanced view of the ikon. heck I have set up 3 of these on my spectrum gear and never an issue. Maybe its just jeti brain overload as my old grey matter is running on dialup modem speeds HAHA!

Well, decided to go into advanced and the channel seltection was like "BUBBA! RIGHT HERE YOU TOOL!! CHOOSE THE SETUP SELECTION CHANNEL!!!

So Im all good and ready to fly. God help me. OH, does anyone know how to add pitch to a stick position. I have the self level on momentary switch and want to have pitch added auto while holding the bail out.

Thank you to all who helped. Especially Chris who even was gonna give me direct phone support today. Ha, as I was texting him I found the solution!! Loving my jeti and the people at this site!

To late to help you but could be useful for other people.
In my example i used SF (3 pos switch) for bank selection, SG (momentary switch) for Self Level and servo output 10 (use 7 for Brain if i remember well).
Remember you need two identical mixes

Thanks Chris. Mix was really easy. Well basic part of it. My dilemma is that when I put in a mix I can program the jeti to add 100% pitch when the momentary switch is held for self level. That's awesome. Downsize is that if Im at full negative pitch when flipping the switch, the 100% positive pitch just brings the total pitch to zero (at -100 plus 100 yada yada). Thinking there must be someway to do it but I am done for now and will probe deeper into this in the near future.

Heli is ready but CC160 will not arm. Not a surprise as it took a huge impact from the last crash it was in.
