Just wandering what head speeds you guys are using with the stock gear ratio? It really seems more suited to F3C flying.

Idle up one 1700

Idle up two 1950

Powered by a YS 120. With head speed of 1700 I get 9 minutes of air time.

My G4 flies awesome at 1650. 1900 is great too. I wouldn't spin it too much faster. This seems to be the sweet spot. I'm running 14.5 pitch, 11deg cyc.

Always fly in idle 2, but only 11 deg pitch. 6++ minutes flights.

Normal governed at 1500
Idle up #1 governed at 1900
Idle up #2 governed at 2100

Running OS 105HZ-R with 700mm Cyclone blades.
