Default What happened to the idler pully on the X600EP?

Here's the diagram from the manual:



What happened to that idler pully? Did it ever exist or was that from a prototype?

So it's just not shown in the manual then? How is it installed? Where do the two washers go?

Default What happened to the idler pully on the X600EP?

Don't know about two washers ,but i think that one washer is necessary between bearings.

With the inner and outer races of the bearings both touching it's not necessary. you only need a washer or collar between two bearings if there is separation between them and then only if there is a lateral load on the bearings.

The washers is for the last shaft screws, or between the shaft to give some backlash for the tail shaft.

I understand that. bad explanation. but think of it like this. Tail shaft needs abit gap between bearings. the two washers u push between the last fastener or what its called. i named shaft( from sweden). but its two m3 screws that holds yhe fastener. u squeeze the two between. Back of the pulley
