are there any tips on how to tune a max 91SZ-H PS-HYPER, mine seems to be smoking and spitting out fuel quite a lot. it has only done 1 flight so far,

Thats some great info, I will be setting up my servo's tomorrow. Man. how long does it take to master hovering on a simulator. I am building a trex 450sa and am practicing with one a RF simulator, that thing is all over the place! every day i get a tad better but still can't hold that thing still! Any tips?

Guys Im very new to this stuff and Im confuse bout my gyro... Its a JR piezo G420T gyro. The switch on it says "tail lock" on & off? Now what is that? How do I set it on or off? Pls help. And 1 side is binding the other 1 is ok. If I adjust the ATV the movement of the servo slows down.

sonny, the 450SA is super sensitive on my FSOne and there's no way to adjust it as far as I could find. I just kept at it until I was able to do it. Figure it took at least 20 crashes before I could hover it, and it still wasn't pretty. Now I can hover steady, and do forward flight. Still doing tail in, nose in still gets me in trouble really fast.

You might give HeliSimRC a try. I have that as well and you can adjust lots of stuff and load different model set ups. For instance, there is a "gentle" model, a "sport" model and one other one I can't remember its name. I figure I have about 10 hours of sim time, and I'll probably get another 10 to 20 hours before my heli is built and set up. Biggest thing I've found with the sim is to maintain your patience and discipline. Keep at it, and don't just fly around doing sloppy manuevers. When I get on the sim, I plan for at least 30 minutes per session, and I try to improve each time.

The time you spend on the sim will pay off, just keep at it.

I've been told that even though it's easier to learn using just thumbs, movements are more accurate using the index finger/thumb pinch.

With that, I've been using RealFlight for a couple of weeks and I just think it's more comfortable using the index finger/thumb (especially with the sticks all the way out).

In the end though, either way is probably fine. I originally decided to only train by using my index finger/thumb because in all the videos/pictures of the "pros" I've seen that's how they do it.

i used the finger thumb method,but than i saw finless use his thumbs ???

It all boils down to personal preference....whatever is more comfortable to you. There are pro's that fly with thumbs and pro's that pinch....

I do a combo fo both, thumb on top with finger in front.

I use thumb on right and 2 fingers on left.

I have fast input on cyclic and precision on trottle. and rudder

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the best method the one that works for you?

I was so scared to set up my new helicopter (EXI 450) because i noticed that the gyro takes over after a certian adjustment value on my knob, this causes the servo to go way to the extreme and back track from there. SO, being a beginner I came up with this Idea!!

This will let you set up any helicopter, and even let you practice flying without crashing!!

It Pivots and rotates on the spring to allow all movements from a helicopter, and it is fully adjustable on the spring tention by screwing the spring in or out..Just mount the helicopter to the plate and simulate Flying safely without crashing!!!!
