Default Are you running 5 or 6 volts?

Question, Are you guys running 5 or 6 volts on the receiver?
If you are running 6 volts, which servos are you using and
are you using a stepdown module for the gyro?

Hey Mel, you can use 6V, just make sure you use a step down device going to the gyro and tail servo "down to 5.3V". 9650 servos on swash will take 6V no issue, however a 401,601,611 gyro and accompaning servos will not take 6Volts without failing. Honestly I run 5V BEC on all me E Helis and have never had felt the need to run 6V, but hey each to their own.

My mistake, thanks Nathan. Good thing peeps are keeping me in line "or stalking me, lol" . the 401 may be ok but,,,,the 611 or the 601 does not really like 6V though.

I'm still using an Align linear reg and find its great. 5.8V to cyclic and 401 with the supplied 5v stepdown on the tail servo. The built in 5 ball battery checker is great to see how your 2s lipo is going.
