Default Could I use a mrpm-ac ex sensor for the ikon gov?

I was planning on getting this hobbywing rpm sensor (http://www.helidirect.com/rpm-sensor-p-26366.hdx) to use as the pickup for the govenor on a ikon fbl controller.

Then I was thinking if it could be possible to use the jeti MRPM-AC EX
Telemetry sensor for both the telemetry as well the gov. Say by maybe using a "y" servo lead and splitting that signal to both units.

Thoughts?

It wont work.

The Jeti sensor transmits a digital signal on the servo lead (likely serial based protocol), the iKon expects a simple pulse modulation (1 pulse per signal from motor).

I thought your question was whether you could use the sensor to feed both the Ikon gov and the Jeti rpm telemetry. If so, the answer is yes.
