1..Very clear out side temps 45-50 degrees..Nothing around as far as building trees etc..
2 Hook up batterys and turn on cp2 take ir up to the router and press enter .cp2 ver number appears.Press enter again preflight appears..Press enter all go sign come on ready to fly.....

I will tell you all i did not build these helies my friend did .And he builds plenty of then for a large hobby shop here in illinois...I am just a guy that wants to fly....And i do a desent job for a newbie...So just a heads up i can tell u the way he set me up with these i can nose in hover no problem .i do have plenty of vids on utube under my screen name icerat4 to see me in action .as to my abilitys....I am sure all his settings are fine as like i said i have no issues hovering at all very stable....I got these cp2 for my next step actually flying around slow and not having issues when disorianted...So just to be clear about me ..thanks guys im sure we can get this to work for me ...Now all we need here in illinois .Is nice weather again....Thanks for any input ....
In that case we are probably talking to the wrong guy.....LOL
Sorry to say you will have to get involved one day whether you like it or not
That is why I am about to give up on this system, I can see it is not suitable for my location where 98% of the time it is NO FLY from CPIIFlymentor

Well its that time to get involved lol...I went with this system for ease of setup ..we do get alot of better fly time im sure.....No worries Nightflyer will know as he has the best info on these cp2 .....I am sure i am just a couple clicks away from a good set up ..I did talk to the guy who built these and set up the cp2..he told me like i alredy knew he had very little time with weather conditions being so crapie and him wanting me to get my stuff back ...He did what he could do with weather and time ...He told me bring them back and with more time and better weather there should not be a problem ....It was really windy when he set them up .Not ideal conditions at all...

IceRat,

The 100% your friend is talking about is your stick priority... at 100% your heli has most of the conrol! I recommend chaning your stick priority to about 140 or so... this will give you alot of control... as far as it shooting forward... you need to change your pitch angles in the CPII... Go through the menu until you find the pitch angles... default is 0. If it is shooting forward, then you need to change it to UP 2 degrees or so.... this is kind of trial and error. Think of the setting as which way you want your nose to go... If your heli is going forward, you want the nose to go up. Same thing with left and rt....

Here are some guidelines that will give more control to you
and less to Co-Pilot:
n
If you are not getting any oscillation, then leave Gains
where they are.

n
Increase the Stick Priority. Experienced fliers tend to use
higher figures like 150%.

n
If possible, assign a slider or knob to the Co-Pilot ON/OFF
channel so you can vary sensitivity in the air. If this isn’t
possible, you can accomplish the same thing by reducing
the Gains when you land using the IRNet Programmer.

n
You can eliminate Co-Pilot interaction when Co-Pilot is
switched OFF by reducing the Auto Trim function to zero.
But when you do this, the model will probably no longer
be trimmed when Co-Pilot is ON. Use the Set Angles
menus to trim the aircraft when Co-Pilot is ON. (To set

Auto Trim to zero, you don’t

Sorry IceRat - Been busy here.

Hopefully NightFlyr will be able to get your problem sorted out,

If your swash is level, then all adjustment is done with the IR hand held unit to correct any unwanted movements, that how I did it.

That is if some fair weather will stay put or consistant for more than one battery's/tank's worth.... with me by the time I think I am done with setting/trimming IRNet say NO!

CPII - There are those who swear by it and those who swear at it

I've been waiting almost 5 weeks to spool up, and With 600 & 700 birds, don't care what system you have installed, you won't be flying these indoors..

Made an attempt to shoot a video out in the back yard earlier today to demonstrate how well FM holds the heli on position mode. It was so windy I had trouble keeping the heli in the shot (tripod) let alone show off my hands free skills.

So had to put it off for another day

pril250,

Not trying to bust on you..but this is a Co Pilot thread,
I'm sure your FM is working nice for you,but I believe it would be better said and shown on a FM thread.

No offense intended
