Default 3D flight school in the Detroit area May 29-30th W/ Nick, Tim, Bobby, Dave, and Aaron

Hi Guys,

I'm excited to invite you to participate in a 3D flying school at Grosse Ile Airport 9501 Groh Road, Grosse Ile, MI May 29th and 30th. The school takes place just before the Mid America Fun Fly which is held at the same location.

This year the instructors are;

Advanced Class

Nick Maxwell - Team Thunder Tiger
Tim Jones - Team A-Main Hobbies
Bobby Watts - Team Gaui

Beginner/Intermediate Clas

Aaron Johnson - Team Synergy
David Kettlehut - Yeam Compass

You are encouraged to bring and fly your own helis, however we will have several machines there as well.

Radios and trainer cords are being sponsored by JR/Spektrum and Futaba so we should have the appropriate setup to buddy box everyone.

For nitro guys the school is being sponsored by Byron Fuels Rotor Rage and we will have both 15% and 30% masters blend available.

For electric guys the school is being sponsored by Pulse Ultra batteries so we will have some 6S 5000maH packs here to keep the flying going all day.

The school will feature two classes one for advanced pilots looking to get to the next level. And the Beginner / intermediate class for those looking to improve on their basic skils and master intermediate manouvers.

We are limiting the number of students to four (4) per instructor, so eight (8) for the beginner / intermediate class and twelve (12) for the advanced class.

The cost of the clases will be;

$450.00 per student for the advanced class.
$225.00 per student for the beginner/intermediate class.

The payment may be broken down into three installments. The first installments is due by December 15th or soon thereafter. The second by March 15th and the third by April 15th.

Email me at xcellpilot@hotmail.com for more details.

Take care,

Big D.

The beginners class takes any pilot that is capable of hovering all the way up to those capable of mind aerobatics.

The advanced class takes on pilots that are capable of mild aerobatics and up from there.

Both valid questions.
I would sign up if I could take the full week off of work but If I did I would want it on video for a couple of reasons.
1, just so I could review it and 2, when I go in its hard and fast! LOL

Hi Dan,

As far as other brands of radios, I will certainly do what I can to accommodate everyone. I have good working relationships with people at Futaba and Spektrum so I know I can count on their support. Should someone signup that flies a different brand, again I would do my best to have that brand radio on hand. If not the instructors are bringing models of their own for buddy boxing as well.

As far as spectators, provided that the spectator was not a pilot, I don't see a problem. However if the spectator is a pilot there could be an issue. Give me a call and we can discuss it in futher detail.

Take care,

Big D.

Default I have a few spots left!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,

I only have a few spots for the 3D school. Here's a great opportunity to improve your flying and setup skills by sending two-days with several top pilots.

Don't miss it.

Default Beginer class is full.

Hi Guys,

We have a few spots left for the advanced class with Nick Maxwell, Tim Jones, and Bobby Watts. Only $450.00 for two days of up close and personal training with the Pros.
