Default Reverse direction of prop rotation upon landing

I have a T34 plane and I am using the Kontronuik Jive 80 HV on it .
I wonder if one of the modes (maybe car mode?) will allow me to reverse rotation of the prop upon landing thus helping me to brake once on the ground....

Usually the airplane specific speed controls do not have a car mode with reverse.

You could look into a variable pitch setup like the guys use on the 3d foamies.

Reversible props don't reverse the rotation. I think the ESC would have a hard time maintaining its synchronization in that event. They reverse their pitch. One thing to keep in mind is that aero braking as used in this context is most effective at higher speeds. Friction based braking like that given by brakes is most effective at the low speeds our models typically operate at. Our models fly so slowly anyway that there is little need for these things outside of heavily wing loaded models like jets.

If the goal is an academic exercise it might prove interesting. If the need is practical OTOH like preventing the model from running off the end of the runway I would suggest flight technique is easier to implement. Proper approach speed management, landing into the wind, touching down at the approach end of the runway and use of full up elevator after landing should all get you stopped in time.
